Empire State Contractors Group is experienced in and offers a range of construction and management services, including general contracting services for all stages of construction, construction management, and pre-construction services (including but not limited to project scheduling, estimating, value engineering, coordination of competitive trade/supplier bids, and permitting). Empire State Contractors group is founded and owned by Salvatore Nicchitta Jr., the G.C. license holder. Salvatore stays fully committed and involved throughout the entirety of the team’s projects, by overseeing project management, involvement in client meetings, and maintaining relationships with said clients and their parties. General Contracting Services
- ESC is a fully insured and licensed contractor in New York City.
- ESC is experienced in ground-up new construction, major alterations, and expansions in 

  commercial, residential, and mixed-use spaces.
- ESC provides clarity of operations during the construction process and maintains amicable 

  relations with its clients.
- ESC is involved in projects from pre-construction to the building’s certificate of occupancy, with a

  multifaceted team of project managers and project admin.
- ESC assists in arranging access to utilities (i.e. gas, electric, water) and collaborates with DOB and

  DOT agencies to complete project sign-offs.
- ESC is well versed in fully executing monthly requisitions for bank funded projects and is

  transparent with its clients regarding budgets and possible value-engineering opportunities.

 

Construction Management 
- ESC construction management services include but are not limited to assigning a dedicated onsite

  project super, project manager, office administration, and licensed superintendent of construction

  as required by the Department of Buildings.
- ESC maintains the project schedule, permitting, and assists with the purchase of materials.
- ESC ascertains the appropriately experienced and insured subcontractors and executes said

  subcontractor trades. ESC will then coordinate with all trades for the progression of the project.

  Weekly onsite meetings are held between the trades, GC and CM and daily reports are sent to

  ownership documenting each phase of work.
- ESC ensures all DOB requirements are met during the course of the project and is adamant about

  site safety.

Pre-Construction Services
- ESC Group pre-con services include but are not limited to project scheduling, estimating, value

  engineering, and coordination of competitive trade/supplier bids.
- Empire works in collaboration with owners, consultants, and architects to meet the common goal

  of launching the project into construction.
- ESC Group facilitates pre-development site planning and meetings including zoning and

  construction codes.
- ESC interviews and assists in choosing the demolition engineer, as well as assists in the hiring of a

  demolition subcontractor to prepare the project for commencement.
- ESC is determined to create a fitting budget and timely schedule to thoroughly prepare the owner

  and their professionals for the project.
